For anyone that owns both system, it's hard to get excited about Playstation 3. It has a terrible library of Xbox 360 hand me downs. As for Playstation 3 not competing with Xbox 360, PS3 was beaten a long time ago in the entertainment arena. I've been downloading TV Shows, movies and music videos for... what? Two years now? Playstation 3 is to have a 10 year life cycle? It will take them that long to catch up to where Xbox Live and it's library is today.
The Playstation 3 is still a million systems behind Xbox 360 in Europe. I didn't realize that = Dominating. Xbox 360 software sales are fine in Europe. The only thing dominating in Europe is the Wii and DS.
2 Million PS3 systems in Japan is nothing to be proud of.
If the inside of your console needs to be fix, send it back to Microsoft and they'll send you a new one.

If I'm not mistaken, the Xbox 360 does have a larger user base world wide than Playstation 3 by about 7 million. However, the subject matter here is American sales.

Yeah BladeStar, Playstation 3 users get to add rumble for the Low, low price of $54.99 on April 15th. However, all Xbox 360 owners get rumble as a standard, in addition to Customer Sound Tracks, Real Achievements and the episodic content. However the Playstation 3 version will be better cuz I like the controller and that proves it.
I must admit that I'm pleased with the Devil May Cry 4 sales on Xbox 360. The game has its fan base on Playstation. I didn't think it would do so well on 360.
There's no reason for anyone to own a Playstation 3 now. Gears of War 2 easily smashes MGS4.

Agreed that the Playstation 3 is doing fantastic in Europe (although its still millions of units behind Wii and Xbox 360). In Europe, Software sales for PS3 are even matching those of Xbox 360. However in the United States (which has been well documented as the largest and most desirable market in the world), The Playstation 3 is a complete flop. What happens in the United States, effect Europe.
